The best restaurant we have been to in Riga. The dishes are outstanding and the menu has enough variation, even with high quality vegetarian alternatives. The value for money was very good - the wines were not overpriced and well selected. The service personnel was very friendly and attentive. Keep on track - We will be back.

Beautiful restaurant across the park in central Riga. The food was fresh and delicious. The bread with hemp butter was probably the best we've had. The ravioli was amazing. They also gave a sample of a tomato-pesto soup that I wish we could've ordered. Great selection of wine. Friendly and helpful staff.
This place was amazing! We had the 7 course menu and we pretty much licked the plates. We live in sweden so we are familiar with the flavours but the whole experience was still 10/10. Truely recommend if you are after a fine dining experience.
We had the tasting menu with wine pairing, and it truly made us appreciate the flavours and ingredients Latvia has to offer. Each wine perfectly complemented and elevated the dishes. The highlight for us was the mushroom ravioli — absolutely exceptional. We’ll definitely be back!
What a lovely experience I had dining here for lunch. Admittedly I was early 12.00pm so the only one in the restaurant. The service from the waiter really looked after advising on the dishes and wine choice. I wanted to major on the mushroom dishes and was not disappointed. If im back in z Riga it will be a goto place for me.
The restaurant is quite small and very atmospheric. The waiters were friendly and explained the different dishes. The 7-course dinner with wine package was absolutely great. A hidden gem right on the edge of the old town.
Loved my dinner at Forest Restaurant. The mushroom ravioli starter was good (just needed a bit more salt), the berry sorbet palate cleanser was refreshing, and the steak with mashed potatoes was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The chocolate soufflé dessert was amazing — gooey in the middle and great with the ice cream and jams. Lovely atmosphere too, definitely underrated and worth a visit. The service was great too.
